Can I listen to music during the run?
Headphones result in variable time penalty on both run and bike.
I see people with bib numbers attached to a belt and not to a shirt. What is the purpose of a race belt?
Race belts are usually worn by competitive athletes or those looking for a quick transition. You will affix your number
to the belt prior to the race start and grab the belt as you leave transition 2 (bike to run). The race number must
be visible from the front.
What are lace locks?
Found in different styles, from different companies, lace locks are an inventive way of putting on your shoes quickly and
not having to tie your shoe. You simply tighten the lace lock after you slide on your shoe.
Can I run with my friend during the run?
Running with a friend is okay ONLY IF the friend is a registered participant. Otherwise it results in a variable time
penalty for Unauthorized Assistance. No outside support, pacing, etc..
